Darjeeling is well connected to some of the major cities close by such as Gangtok and Kalimpong which are located at a distance of 100 km and 51 km respectively. The city is also connected with Kolkata which is 651 km away and it takes around 14 hours to reach here. The capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu is just 310 KM away from this beautiful place. From the airport, one can reach the city by Bus or Cab.

After Breakfast proceed for Mirik, that is about 49 kilometers from the town center of Darjeeling. Visit the Mirik Monastery on top and then the Mirik Lake. You can do boating in the lake or walk over the arching footbridge and crossover to the other side of the lake, turn left and take the walkway through the dhupi forest and enjoy the nature. There is a temple in the forest (known as Devi Sthan). Pony rides are also available around the lake and quite popular with children. After the exciting day, come back to the hotel and overnight stay.
Tiger Hill, known for a picturesque sunrise experience, and of course the panoramic view of Mount Kanchenjunga. Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mount Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Japanese Temple. After visiting temple come back to the hotel and Now you are free for shopping or leisure then overnight at the hotel.
